Sales Manager - USA

Qualification: Diploma/university degree
Experience: Sales: 2 – 5 year

Our portfolio includes subtitling, film dubbing, audio-description, voice over, translation and localisation, proofreading, transcription and interpreting services. DUBnSUB is one of the top companies in the industry and today works with more than 16,000 voice-over artists, freelance translators, interpreters and transcription specialists worldwide.

As a Sales Manager, you will be able to use your knowledge and experience in the localisation industry to contribute to the company’s growth. You will work independently, generate customer contacts and build customer relationships through campaigns, increase sales and profitability and demonstrate sales expertise in day-to-day business with potential customers. Previous experience in the above industries is a plus.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers and build business via phone or email. Identify potential clients across all industry sectors, introduce DUBnSUB Media and propose our service offerings.
  • Develop and execute a sales plan for your sales territory.
  • Ensure maximum customer satisfaction by working closely with potential customers and understanding their needs.
  • Identify the decision makers in an organisation and subsequently arrange a telephone, video conference or face-to-face meeting for business discussions.
  • Introduce the company to customers
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates on the composition of all required elements.
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • The ability to advertise DUBNSUB services on online media for maximum brand exposure and to create brand recall.
  • Create brand equity for DUBnSUB Media in the US region and contribute to our international presence.
  • Any other assignments as assigned by the line manager

Personal characteristics and qualifications:

  • You should have 2 to 5 years of professional experience in subtitling, film dubbing, audio-description, voice over and localisation.
  • You have good business acumen.
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You have good organisational and time management skills.
  • You have excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • You have self-motivation, initiative and a positive attitude.
  • You have the self-confidence to present yourself in front of large groups of people.
  • You are trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
  • You come across as smart and have a professional attitude.
  • Are you willing to spend up to 15% of your time travelling to attend relevant trade fairs in the US region.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible driving and accelerate profitable business growth in the US. You will be working on generating leads from various campaigns and build new client relationships, growing sales and profitability, and providing sales expertise in the day-to-day management of client prospects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Promote DUBnSUB’s services via LinkedIn to ensure maximum brand visibility, generating brand recognition for DUBnSUB in the market and your professional network.

  • Any other responsibility assigned by the Reporting Manager.

Skills/ Attributes:

  • The ideal candidate will have some knowledge/exposure to/in sales, online/digital marketing, linguistics or languages service provider.
  • Has the ability and desire to build strong relationships within the company.
  • Persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal in English and perhaps you have another language of interest.
  • Knows how to work effectively in teams; takes responsibility, provides and can receive feedback.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
