The Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) returns to Potsdamer Platz for its 73rd edition from February 16-26, 2023. The industry activities at the European Film Market (EFM, February 16-22, 2023), the Berlinale Co-Production Market (February 18-22, 2023), Berlinale Talents (February 18-23, 2023) and the World Cinema Fund (WCF) are also taking place on-site after having been online for two years due to the pandemic.
Every February Berlin transforms into a hub for film stars, directors, producers, journalists, professionals, and international film buffs. As one of the most important annual events for the international film industry, Berlinale usually witnesses up to 500,000 cinema visits, and 20,000 professional visitors.
