About Berlinale
Established in 1951, the Berlinale has evolved into one of the world’s most prestigious public film festivals, renowned for its commitment to artistic exploration and political discourse. Each year, it attracts tens of thousands of visitors, including filmmakers, industry professionals, and cinema enthusiasts from around the globe. The festival showcases approximately 200 films across various genres, lengths, and formats, offering audiences a diverse cinematic experience that challenges perceptions and fosters intercultural dialogue.
About European Film Market (EFM)
Running concurrently with the Berlinale, the EFM is a premier meeting place for the international film and media industries. From February 13 to 19, 2025, the EFM will host around 10,000 industry representatives, including producers, buyers, sales agents, distributors, and financiers. As the first major film market of the year, it serves as a barometer for new productions and industry trends, facilitating networking, business transactions, and discussions on future-proof business models. This edition introduces the Innovation Hub, focusing on cutting-edge technologies and AI-based solutions revolutionizing the industry.
